Simply put, innovating is at the heart of who and what Mobile Aspects is and will continue to be. Over the past decade, our constant pursuit of innovation has been centrally focused on automating processes of healthcare and allowing providers to create smarter approaches to care delivery.
The innovation began by using technology to improve the workflow of managing supplies and implantable devices used in areas such as perioperative services, cardiology, and radiology. In recent years, it has expanded to other processes dealing with the use and management of tissue, endoscopes, contrast media, surgical specimens, and more. This continued ability to innovate is predicated on a willingness to work intimately with our clients.
Our clients have given us the guidance, insight and feedback to develop solutions that have two powerful attributes. One attribute is the solutions need to be easy-to-use and efficient for end users such as nurses, technicians, and other clinical staff. Easy and intuitive systems are critical in procedural areas that focus on case turnover and throughput. And two, the solutions lead to process improvements that create measurable gains in operational performance. Most notably, increasing process accuracy and efficiency, enabling improved profitability, and increasing clinical outcomes.
An example of this collaboration was realized at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the deployment of our endoscope tracking system, iRIScope. We listened closely to the needs of the customer and then delivered an incredibly easy-to-use technology that advanced their approaches to store, track, and manage flexible endoscopes.
