Business Development Representative

Experience: 10+ years selling capital sales or software to executives. At least 5 years’ experience of selling to hospitals. Demonstrable experience of landing new hospital accounts with high success rate.

Title: Business Development Representative – Pittsburgh

Job purpose:

To attract and land new hospitals and health systems to Mobile Aspects. This role is engaged exclusively in landing new accounts for Mobile Aspects products

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Mine company database to identify targets and formulate lead lists
  2. Cold call existing and prospective customers to generate meetings
  3. Maintain records of all customer “touches” and contacts
  4. Meet with hospital administrators and executives to review their site’s existing solutions and workflows
  5. Understand customer pain points, where their existing system is lacking and apply our solution to their business needs
  6. Draft customer quotes and agreements for customer review
  7. Present quotes and system overviews, discuss advantages of Mobile Aspects systems with appropriate decision makers
  8. Address and overcome customer objections and concerns with different hospital stakeholders such as supply chain, IT, facilities and executive suite
  9. Negotiate pricing with customers and secure signed agreements and purchase orders
  10. As required, complete requests for information and requests for proposal
  11. Ability to balance a nationwide portfolio of potential health system customers and land 6-10 new health systems per year
  12. Any other accountabilities and responsibilities the Company requires from the position
